In Digital Storytelling Workshops I encourage the participants to tell their story - something they have to share with other people. 

The participants have full control over writing, recording, and editing their stories. The workshop empowers them to write and share their stories, give feedback on the stories of other participants, and learn technical skills that make it possible to repeat this process any time.
