I studied film editing at the Film Academy 'Konrad Wolf' in Potsdam and worked as a freelancer in Berlin, Beirut and Heidelberg on feature films, trailers, documentaries, short films, 2D animations and illustrations. I also gave digital storytelling workshops for young refugees in Berlin and am currently working on an autobiographical graphic novel with the working title 'ALLES GUT!' based in Heidelberg, living with my partner Tony, our son, and our dog.
I am also co-founder of the Berlin-based NGO DISCOVER FOOTBALL and co-initiator of the first public women's football match in the Islamic Republic of Iran and co-producer of the film FOOTBALL UNDER COVER about the match, which premiered at the Berlinale in 2008.
