Force Majeure
The Swedish drama FORCE MAJEURE by Ruben Ölsund unfolds when Tomas, Ebba, and their children are threatened by an avalanche. What seamed like a perfect holiday turns out to be a test for the family.
The film uses images of ideal nature and family harmony, to break them as the story evolves. Editing the trailer I could use these components to give an impression of the unsafe atmosphere of the movie. Will the experience of facing an avalanche eventually seperate the family?
The trailer was edited for the premiere at Cannes Filmfestival 2014 and was mentioned in press.
